Program Manager

PMO

The Program Manager is responsible for standardizing project management techniques and activities across all client sites and defining mechanisms to provide updates to the executive management/leadership team. This role also involves directing day-to-day activities in the Centralized Program Management Office (CPMO) to ensure that all programs and projects meet organizational goals and requirements. The Program Manager develops and implements CPMO policies, processes, templates, and tools.


Roles y Responsabilidades

  • Leadership and Coordination:

  1. Directs and oversees the work of project management staff.
  2. Works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
  3. Mentors and manages teams of consultants, providing training and assigning roles and responsibilities.

  • Client Focus and Quality Control:

  1. Ensures overall client satisfaction, quality of delivery, and profitability of engagements.
  2. Acts as client council for strategic guidance, including technical expertise and best practices.
  3. Identifies and addresses client grievances immediately to maintain satisfaction.

  • Operational Efficiency:

  1. Manages resources for projects, including project staffing, earned value management, and tracking.
  2. Manages dependencies across multiple projects and tracks benefits.
  3. Provides project visibility to the leadership team.
  4. Manages risk to projects and ECI, developing Risk Action Plans as needed.
  5. Identifies consultant value and opportunities to increase consultant utilization.

  • Standardization and Best Practices:

  1. Standardizes project management techniques and activities across all client sites.
  2. Ensures reusability by being a central point for lessons learned, templates, and best practices.
  3. Provides governance by ensuring that decisions are taken by the right people, based on accurate and relevant information.
  4. Maintains transparency by providing information with a single source of truth to support effective decision-making.

  • Project Management and Support:

  1. Analyzes each client's specific request, determines underlying problems, and recommends proper solutions.
  2. Provides project engineering and project management support, ensuring adherence to client and ECI policies and procedures.
  3. Conducts and documents consultant performance reviews, end-of-engagement interviews, and assists on projects as needed.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent. PMP Certification is a plus
  • 12 years direct experience in the medical device industry. Minimum 3 years of direct program management experience. Must have a good understanding of FDA 21CFR820, ISO 13485, 14971, 62366, 62304, 60601 and other harmonized standards.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications (Word/ Excel/ Project/ PowerPoint/ Visio/ Teams/ WBS). Applicable Project Management Software experience.
  • Experience with electronic management documentation systems (desired).
  • Language: Spanish native speaker; fluent written, reading and spoken English.
